Often times I'm asked what my work schedule is like.  Because my work schedule varies depending on the time of year, I came up with a response that is both efficient and fun for me at the same time:

"I work 24 hours a day
7 days a week
365 days a year
and every 4 years
I work an extra day
just for the heck of it"

I know the response by heart, I say it fast, and they end up either laughing or shaking their heads, and then our conversation can move on to bigger and better things.  Sometimes. . . maybe. . . Unless they ask me the same question again, hoping to get a more definitive response. Of course, I give them the same answer every time they ask.  That's why I know it by heart and can say it fast.  That's why people groan when someone new comes up and asks me about my work schedule.  They know what's coming.  Because I'm consistent.  That's a good thing, yeah?
